Gwadar Operation: Security Forces Kill 10 Terrorists Including a Woman, Foil Attacks — ISPR

GWADAR: Security forces have killed 10 terrorists, including a woman, in Gwadar after foiling attempted attacks near the Gabd border crossing and in Gwadar city, the military’s media wing said on Friday. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said the attackers belonged to Indian-sponsored “Fitna al-Hindustan” — the state’s term for Balochistan-based militant groups.
How Thursday unfolded
According to the ISPR, the attacks took place on Thursday, leaving one civilian dead and several vehicles damaged. No security personnel were hurt. Three terrorists were killed the same day when forces foiled an assault on an unoccupied construction company camp; a clearance operation then killed seven more. The military said order had been restored and the writ of the state re-established.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the forces’ professionalism, saying the nation stood with them and those trying to obstruct Balochistan’s development would face defeat.
“An offence against Baloch women”
The ISPR condemned the coercion of a Baloch woman into the attack, calling it a crime against the state and against the dignity of Baloch women, and said militants were exploiting Baloch women for propaganda. The statement said the terrorists had targeted the very people they claimed to represent, seeking to obstruct the province’s development and prosperity, and that the counterterrorism campaign under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” vision would continue at full pace.
Militant groups circulated competing claims on social media; officials dismissed them as baseless and urged the public to rely on verified information.
